Over the last few years, Great British Chefs has become the go-to website for home cooks and food lovers in the UK. We have grown into a multimedia foodie platform with over 4,500 recipes from 150 of Britain’s best chefs (such as Marcus Wareing, Nathan Outlaw, Martin Wishart, Michael Caines, Simon Rogan, Tom Aikens, Nuno Mendes, Francesco Mazzei, Galton Blackiston, Pierre Koffmann, Jeremy Lee, Sat Bains, Claude Bosi and Alfred Prasad). We also have thousands of in-depth articles, photo stories and how-to video guides. But quantity and quality would mean nothing without our community of foodies, to whom we owe the success of

This is why we want to put you at the heart of our next foodie adventure – the very first Great British Chefs Cookbook. We are taking the leap from the digital world and putting over 100 fantastic recipes on paper, simply because we love cookbooks as much as you do. Cookbooks line our shelves and we give and receive them as gifts. We love flicking through their pages, re-discovering old friends and new ideas and over time they develop characters of their own as they become covered with notes and the odd splash of sauce!

The Great British Chefs hardback cookbook will bring together the greatest chefs in Britain, their fascinating stories and incredible dishes. Every single recipe will come with stunning images, step-by-step instructions and cooking tips from the chefs themselves, packaged together in a beautifully designed book.


As a backer, you will have the chance to shape the content of the book by telling us which recipes you would like to see and which new ones we should include, ranging from the simple midweek meal to the dinner party showstopper. And because the cookbook will be exclusive to those who back us on Kickstarter, it won’t be available in shops or elsewhere online – making this book something of a collector’s item to be cherished for years to come.

To make this cookbook a reality, we are targeting a pledge of £60,000. This will cover the costs of testing the recipes until they’re perfect, photographing them to the highest standards, developing the design, printing the limited edition run and shipping it to you as a backer.

Kickstarter works on an ‘all-or-nothing’ basis – so if for some reason we don’t reach our target, then you won’t pay anything at all. But if we do, then by pledging your support and backing us now, you will secure your exclusive copy of the book.
